The target for the RD/SD project was clear. We seeked to create a concept which made premium quality gearboxes, with top class performance and functionality, available at competitive prices.

We wanted to find a solution where the gearbox casing would be as lightweight as possible but still offering great torsional stiffness.
The RD/SD casings was our answer to that challenge, and this design have met and exceeded all our initial targets. Castings were totally eliminated.
